My greatest influence is my mother. Like many African women, her wardrobe honored every moment—weddings, funerals, celebrations, and everyday life. Clothing was never random. It carried meaning, identity, and confidence.
That understanding of fashion as both personal and communal continues to shape how I design and who I design for.
The Origin of AurmosÉ
Although my academic and professional path did not begin in fashion, creativity has always lived at the center of my work.
When I began designing under Our Eye for Beauty, I realized that beauty alone was not enough. Structure, discipline, and intention were required to build something enduring.
Aurmosé is the evolution of that realization.

Hi, I’m Oghogho Amadin Folami-Tayo, Founder and Creative Director of Aurmosé. Fashion has been a companion throughout all of my life adventures.
Long before Aurmosé existed, fashion was my art, and creativity my source of dopamine. My personal style has always been eclectic and full of color, rich, comforting textures and bold silhouettes.
